Supplies You'll Need
White vinegar
Cleaning cloths
Baking soda
Dish gloves
Hydrogen peroxide
Vacuum
Baby laundry detergent
Step by Step
Test first:
Before applying the solution, try it on a hidden spot to ensure it won’t damage the fabric.
Blot Up the Urine:
Absorb as much as possible with paper towels. If it’s already dry, don’t worry — this method still works!
Apply White Vinegar:
Pour enough to cover the soiled area, extending a few inches beyond the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Sprinkle Baking Soda:
Generously coat the area with baking soda to help neutralize odors.
Mix & Apply Cleaning Solution:
Combine ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide with 1 teaspoon baby detergent, then drizzle it over the baking soda.
Work It In:
Using rubber gloves, gently massage the mixture into the fabric or carpet fibers
Let It Dry & Vacuum:
Allow it to dry overnight, or speed things up with a hairdryer. Once dry, vacuum up the residue.
