Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's Sad Formula has Changed - Dusty & Mushy Clump Fresh Step Simply Unscented was my favorite litter til my last purchase I noticed immediately that the litter was a darker color and had a different consistency. Also, the new formula litter created a lot of dust. But the BIGGEST issue is that the litter no longer produces hard clumps. It's soft mushy clumps that don't work well in a litter robot or a regular box. Hope they change the formula back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO LONGER FRAGRANCE FREE!! This used to be May favorite litter… Every box I’ve purchased over the past two months has been heavily fragranced and extremely dusty. What happened? Misleading people and selling a product that is supposed to be completely fragrance free yet is full of artificial fragrance is shady business practice. We’re buying “fragrance free” for a reason. Everything my cats come in contact with smells like cleaning chemicals, it’s disgusting. The dust is making all of us sneeze as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LOVED until reformulation: now STRONGLY fragranced This was my favorite litter for years, until I made a purchase recently and found that the litter is now very strongly fragranced. It's just a complete lie now to say that the product is unscented. It smells like a "tropical breeze" type of laundry detergent or air spray. Very disappointed - it was hard to find a good unscented litter and now I can't buy this one anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is not unscented. I have been using this for years and there seems to be a reformulation. The new packs I’ve been buying have a very strong scent to them that will make your whole room smell like cheap/chemical cleaner products. The new blueish formulation also doesn’t seem to be as low-dust as it used to be. So every time you scoop it omits this toxic heavy scent. I’m highly annoyed and will be asking for a refund. The pouch packs still seem to be the old formulation although I’m having a hard time finding them in as many locations.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed My 17 year old hyperthyroid gal decided one day she no longer liked the litter I was using and started peeing outside of the box. It took almost year of trying different litters until I finally brought home Simply Unscented. She immediately went back to using the litter box. No pee on the floor for the last 3 months. I did notice the first time I bought it that it definitely was NOT unscented, but ok. Last couple of boxes I've purchased have the same complaints as everyone else - super dusty, the litter is much smaller, urine turns into a thick clay texture, is difficult to scoop and falls apart easily. And guess who's peeing outside the box again? I'm really disappointed, especially for what this litter costs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring the original formula and quality back!!!!!! Have been using this litter for 8 years in favor of the low dust and unscented features. BUT the recent bags are soooo unbearably dusty and in darker color. Why changed the formula and lower the quality?
