Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used to be great, not anymore. This litter has changed and not for the better. The formula being put out now does not clump well. I spend an extra 10 minutes have to pick out all the pieces of the clumps that will not stay together. I’ve used freshstep for decades and will have to find another litter because of course, a greedy company wants to keep their prices the same while letting their quality go downhill. It’s wild that I will buy two boxes of the same exact litter and they both have a different color, scent, etc. Look elsewhere for litter.

Just found & bought our regular “simply unscented,” but the box was incorrectly filled with unhealthy fragrances. Yuck! Added fragrances and dyes are unhealthy for all.

Its now no longer free from fragrance, the product is scented and has a strong scent. The formula has definitely changed and is now unusable. Its not what it says on the box, find another brand!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to breathe around… The last couple purchases we have made have been getting worse. I have been using this litter for years and never had a problem. Used to use the free and clear until you got rid of it. My husband has asthma so we got this to help. This Kate’s batch has us both struggling to breathe when the litter is poured or cleaned and our room is covered in dust every time we put new litter in. Both cats have also started sneezing a lot more because of it. We were not aware of a formula change and while we don’t mind the color we do mind not being able to breathe around the litter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened Last purchased I made I thought it was a mistake. Odor free was important and low dust. Something happened to the odor free and 99% dust free. Very disappointed that unscented has a scent and it is dusty. I am now searching for another brand.
